In 2003, we supplied the leaky feeder radio systems to a number of tunneling projects. However, over last few years the communication and data demands required by modern tunneling operations increased, and the need for digital networks and Wi-Fi connectivity became a standard.
By providing high bandwidth connectivity on a single IP network, many of the requirements of a modern tunneling project can be better addressed and managed. The network enables and supports applications and devices such as voice communication, tracking of people and equipment, data links to gas sensors and video cameras, operator of emergency call points and warning systems, and data form TBMs and other machines.
One of the main factors our tunneling customers turn to us is our tracking and access control solutions. It’s a simple installation that provides you with knowing the location of your personnel underground. All the tracking data of personnel coming in and out of a tunnel is logged and you can view this information via your phone, smart tv in the office or at home.
