Situational Awareness solution

Situational awareness, fundamentally, is being able to see the state of people, assets and processes in real time and using this data for greater good.

In mining’s application, situational awareness is achieved via tracking and sensor technologies to provide information from the physical environment and predictions for what’s going to happen next.

MST’s situational awareness solution uses an on-board tag reader to detect RFID tracking tags around the machine.  This alerts the vehicle driver to someone in their vicinity as they approach within 60m to 120m of their vehicle.
