Users can click the camera icon displayed on the map to view real-time footage from specific underground locations. The live camera feed can remain open while navigating the map, delivering a seamless, situational overview of active zones.

For control room operators and supervisors, this feature provides immediate, layered visual confirmation of site activity. Rather than toggling between systems or relying on radio updates, teams can instantly verify equipment status, environmental conditions, and personnel movements—accelerating decision-making and minimising downtime.

In addition to monitoring personnel and equipment underground, dispatchers can use the RTSP camera feeds within the 3D Connect map to oversee critical infrastructure areas such as the fuel bay, shaft cage, and crusher.
