Celebrating Women in Mining: Reflecting on the AusIMM International Women’s Day Event Series 

MST Global is proud to have partnered with AusIMM for the third consecutive year in their inspiring 2025 International Women’s Day (IWD) Event Series. This year’s events in Brisbane and Sydney brought together industry professionals to celebrate the achievements of women in mining and drive conversations about diversity and inclusion. 

The Brisbane luncheon featured an inspiring keynote from Sam Bloom, who shared her journey of resilience and determination. In Sydney, attendees were captivated by Jamila Rizvi, whose thought-provoking speech highlighted the importance of equality and empowerment. Both events provided opportunities for meaningful networking, fostering connections that strengthen the mining community. 

This year’s theme, “March Forward,” aligned perfectly with MST Global’s commitment to progress and inclusion in traditionally male-dominated industries. As we honor the contributions of women, we recognize the ongoing work needed to create a more equitable future.
