Haydn Roberts

Chief Executive Officer

Haydn is an experienced mining engineer who has worked as a CEO and VP in mining technology for the last 17 years mainly in USA and Australia with Hexagon Mining, Komatsu Modular Mining Systems, and Groundprobe.

Prior to that period he served for 11 years as a mining engineer working in South Africa with JCI and with Rio Tinto in USA and Great Britain.

Shaheed Muhammed

Chief Financial Officer

Shaheed has over 15 years of experience in senior finance roles in the technology sector and for the last 10 years has held the roles of CFO and Finance Director in Mining Technology with Hexagon Mining.

 

Prior to that period he held positions at Siemens and various companies in accounting practice.

Steven Weeks

General Manager – APAC

Steven is an experienced engineer particularly in the mining technology and innovation space.

Before joining MST Steven was Vice President for Automation and Technology, Global Sales and Support Sandvik Mining. Member of the Australian Institute of Engineers.

 

He has a Bachelor of Business Administration, and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. He has worked for BHP Billiton in both their Coal Surface Mining and Steel Operations, and Saint Gobain in their Minerals Processing division in Australia . Upon joining Sandvik in 1998 he has worked primarily in various management roles within Automation, Technology, and Customer Services area with Sandvik Mining, including being based in the USA, and Indonesia.

Lourens Geldenhuys

General Manager – Product Management

Peter Laytham

General Manager, Australian Operations

Peter joined MST in June 2011 with a brief to transform the delivery of MST solutions to a more formal project approach. As General Manager, Operations, Peter’s role is to ensure that the solutions proposed, including projects, support and Managed Services, are delivered in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of our customers.

Prior to coming to MST, Peter held senior and leadership roles at Avaya, SCO and VisionWare, and various Management, Sales and Operational roles at Kaz, Alphawest, and Nexor. Peter holds a BE (Electrical and Electronic) from University of Canterbury (NZ) and has had a 30 year career in the technology services market on both sides of the Tasman and in the United Kingdom.

Andrew Blackwell

General Manager, Engineering

Andrew Blackwell leads the MST engineering team in the ongoing development and enhancement of MST’s expanding range of products and software solutions. Andrew has over 20 years’ experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams in the successful development of products and the delivery of consulting services.

His experiences span IT solutions, medical devices, business software solutions, control and monitoring systems, fire protection and security systems. Andrew is a graduate of UTS with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (First Class Honours).
